Is it possible for someone who suffers from obsessive vows, and experiences severe obsessive-compulsive thoughts about uttering vows, especially vows of marriage to other people or having vowed something that would take him out of the fold of Islam, to disregard these obsessions and marry properly, and will God be pleased with him despite these obsessions?

One must turn away from obsessive thoughts and not pay attention to them, whether concerning vows or marriage. Seek Allah's help and supplicate frequently. The affliction of a servant with obsessive thoughts is not a sign of Allah's wrath; rather, it may be a sign of Allah's love for him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. And indeed, when Allah loves a people, He afflicts them. Whoever is content, for him is contentment, and whoever is discontent, for him is discontent."
