Is it permissible to seek help from others in online exams for courses unrelated to one's major?

It is not permissible to seek assistance from others in exams, and the university's permission to take an exam remotely does not allow seeking help. One must confirm with the university whether it permits using references or seeking assistance. If it permits, then it is allowed; otherwise, it is not, because it is forbidden deception. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever deceives us is not of us." This encompasses all forms of deception and fraud in any field.
