What does a Muslim do to lift the coronavirus pandemic?
When tribulations and epidemics descend, the cure lies in repentance and supplication to Allah, rectifying injustices, increasing acts of seeking forgiveness (Istighfar), glorification (Tasbeeh), and sending prayers upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), and asking Allah for well-being, while also taking precautions and treatments such as quarantine and vaccination. For indeed, tribulation does not descend except due to a sin, and it is not removed except through repentance. Furthermore, seeking forgiveness leads to health and strength, glorification rescues from distress, and sending prayers upon the Prophet removes worries and forgives sins, while asking for well-being is required morning and evening. The guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) also indicated the importance of seeking treatment and not traveling to places of plague or leaving them when an outbreak occurs.
