Is it permissible for a girl to marry through a legal guardian other than her father if the father refuses to marry her to a righteous young man due to his hatred of religion and his unlawful profession, with the approval of the rest of the family?

It is recommended to supplicate and entreat Allah Almighty to facilitate matters and guide the father. Disobeying one's parents is cautioned against.

Immorality does not negate the guardianship in marriage, and abandoning prayer is not considered disbelief by the majority of jurists. In the event that the father's guardianship is nullified due to his disbelief or his refusal to marry off his daughter, the matter should be referred to the Sharia court.
