The father bears the sins of his children if he buys them a television set on which they watch what is forbidden, whether he is alive or dead, and that does not diminish any of their own sins. Therefore, you must restrict your viewing to what is permissible when using the device, or remove it from the house, and increase your seeking of forgiveness for your father.
