Is it permissible to prevent a female employee from wearing the abaya in a mixed-gender work environment, especially since her work is not affected by it and her direct manager does not object?

A woman is obligated to cover her entire body in front of a non-mahram man, and this, according to the preponderant opinion, includes the face and hands. It is not permissible for a woman to undertake work that necessitates uncovering her hijab or being in seclusion with a non-mahram man. The manager or official is accountable before Allah for allowing female employees to display their adornment or uncover any part of their bodies, and he is a partner in sin if he condones this. Officials must enjoin good and forbid evil, especially regarding the issue of hijab and display of adornment, and they must monitor and follow up with female employees in this regard. A female employee's adherence to hijab should be a source of honor and appreciation. The strength of faith is linked to zeal for Allah's sacred limits and denouncing evil. There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator, and one must beware of forbidding what Allah has commanded.
