Is it permissible to re-wash the deceased if they were washed on the day of their death, then a night passed before their burial on the following day?

Delaying the funeral contradicts the Prophet's (peace be upon him) command to hasten it. It is not permissible to delay the deceased except for a legitimate, recognized Sharia interest. The ghusl (ritual washing) performed for the deceased is sufficient. Ghusl is not repeated even if something exits the body after the washing; rather, only the impurity is washed from his body and shroud, because the obligation (takleef) ceases with death.
