Is a child the fruit of his father's efforts, whether his deeds were good or evil?

The good deeds performed by a child benefit their parents, such as memorizing the Qur'an and acting upon it. This will cause the parents to be adorned with a crown of light and two garments on the Day of Resurrection. As for the child's misdeeds, they are not recorded against the parents unless they neglected their upbringing, education, and protection from hellfire, based on the verse: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
