What is the ruling on marrying a second wife, given financial and physical capability, without a specific reason? And how is zakat to be purified on money sent to a friend in monthly installments for investment in his business?

Allah has permitted a man to marry more than one wife (up to four wives), provided he is just and able to fulfill their rights, without stipulating a reason for it. As for trade money, zakat (definition) is obligatory on it if it reaches the nisab (definition) and a year has passed over it. Zakat is also obligatory on its profits, in proportion to the capital. The amount of zakat is one-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%), and the nisab is the equivalent of 85 grams of pure gold or 595 grams of silver.
