What is the ruling on deducting amounts from an orphan's sponsorship to cover administrative expenses, social, health, educational, and proselytizing programs, and stipends for supervisors and those in charge of the project?

It is permissible to deduct a portion of orphans' funds as a reward for workers and for administrative expenses if the continuation of the institution's work depends on it, as this falls under the authorized rectification mentioned in the verse: (And if you mix with them, they are your brethren; and Allah knows the one who causes corruption from the one who sets things right). As for what is spent on social, health, educational, and da'wah (preaching) programs, it should not be exclusively allocated to orphans unless the benefit derived from these programs is limited to them, and there are no other entities providing such services free of charge or at a lower cost. Extreme caution must be exercised against consuming the orphan's wealth, due to His (Allah's) saying: (Indeed, those who consume the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a blaze), and because it is one of the seven destructive sins.
