Is coitus interruptus (withdrawal) to prevent pregnancy forbidden in Islam, considering it "covert infanticide" as mentioned in the noble Hadith, especially after the prohibition of temporary marriage (mut'ah), with which withdrawal was associated?

There is no similarity between mut'ah marriage and azl (coitus interruptus). Mut'ah marriage involves specifying a time limit for the contract, whereas azl does not carry this meaning. The occurrence of the words "azl" and "istimta'" (enjoyment, referring to mut'ah) in a single hadith (definition) does not imply that their rulings are the same. Scholars have reconciled the hadiths regarding the prohibition and permissibility of azl, interpreting the former as indicating a dislike (karahat tanzeeh) and the latter as meaning it is not forbidden.
