Is it permissible to bear false witness if the salvation of one's parents and siblings from death depends on it?

Allah has removed hardship from Muslims and has overlooked the one compelled to commit a sin, as in the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned for my nation their mistakes, their forgetfulness, and what they are compelled to do." Compulsion (ikrah) is forcing someone to do what they dislike, and it has conditions for its perpetrator to be excused. These are: the compeller's ability to carry out the threat, the compelled person's fear of that threat, the threat being of death or loss of a limb or what negates consent, the compelled person being resistant were it not for the compulsion, the compelled act being specific, and there being no alternative for the compelled person. If these conditions are met, then there is no blame in giving false testimony for one who is compelled, provided it does not lead to the taking of a life or the violation of honor.
