If the wife retracts her offer of a night before its execution and the husband is aware of it, he must spend that night with her. However, if he only learns of her retraction after the night has ended, he is not required to make it up. The husband must make up the night in which the wife retracted her offer if he was aware of it, as well as the fifth day if it was one of the nights designated for staying with her. The wife's failure to prepare food does not negate her right to have her husband spend the night with her.
