The newly married man stays with the virgin for seven days and with the non-virgin for three, then he equalizes in the division. Justice between the two wives in spending the night is obligatory, and it is the wife's right to be compensated for the nights she missed. Intercourse is a right of the wife, obligatory upon her husband. If the husband abstains from intercourse, the wife may waive this right or demand it. If he refuses, she may take her case to court.
