You should not curse this man or concern yourself with his fate in the hereafter, for he has gone to what he sent forth, and Allah knows best his condition. He is a Just Judge who wrongs no one. And despite the great crimes that occurred during his rule, the scales of justice should be used when judging him. His misdeeds should not be mentioned while his good deeds are overlooked, among the greatest of which is his success in uttering the two Shahadas at his critical moment. It is better for you to seek forgiveness for yourself and for those of your family who have passed away. And if you forgive him, it is more likely that Allah will forgive you.
