Does falling into forbidden gazing contradict being content and patient with divine decree, and does tribulation become wasted due to sins, and will Allah compensate for that?

Contentment with divine decree (al-Rida bi al-Qadar) is recommended, and some say obligatory. Its meaning is to abandon discontent over painful decrees. Contentment with the universal divine decree (al-Qada' al-Kawni) that runs contrary to a servant's desire is recommended, and it is among the stations of the people of faith. The condition for contentment is not that one feels no pain, but rather that one does not object to the divine حكم (ruling). It is permissible to strive to remove evils that have occurred, while remaining content with Allah's divine decree and destiny. Sadness does not negate patience as long as it does not involve discontent with divine decree.
