Is it permissible to say, "How wonderful You are, O Allah!"?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

There is no objection to using the word "al-arwa'" (الأروع) when expressing wonder at Allah Almighty's generosity and favor upon His creation, because the scope for informing about Allah is vast, and because "al-arwa'" in the Arabic language means the generous man of virtue. Nevertheless, it is advised to be careful when speaking about Allah Almighty by adhering to what has been established in the Sharia, to avoid deviation and expressing about Him in a manner that is unfitting.
