Who said: "Some may tell me about something, so I listen to them until they think I have never heard of it before, but by God, I had heard of it before its mother gave birth to it"?

The exact text was not found, but a similar statement was reported from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, who said: "Indeed, a man narrates a hadith to me, and I listen to him as if I have never heard it before, while I had heard it before he was born." Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi also mentioned that 'Ata' said, when someone interrupted another's speech: "Subhan Allah! What are these manners? What is this lack of forbearance? Indeed, I hear a hadith from a man, and I know more than him, yet I show him that I know nothing of it."
