What is the ruling on taking a loan from a bank where the client submits a pro forma invoice for project supplies, and after the bank's approval, it directly pays the cost of the equipment to the supplier company without the client receiving any money, then the client repays the amount to the bank with a five percent increase?

It is permissible for the bank to purchase equipment, own it, and guarantee it before selling it to the customer in installments at a higher price; this is a Murabahah sale. However, for the bank to pay the price of the equipment to the supplying company on behalf of the customer, so that the customer then repays a larger amount to the bank, this is prohibited usurious loan due to Allah’s saying: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal – [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed the one who consumes Riba, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses.
