Feeding as an expiation for delaying the making up of is for the days that were delayed until another Ramadan, for one who was capable and aware of the prohibition, and not for all the days of the year. The expiation is not repeated with repeated delays. It is permissible to offer expiation before, during, or after making up the fast. The original form of expiation is feeding, and it is not permissible to give it in cash according to most scholars. It is advised to fear Allah and avoid excessive questioning in response to whisperings.
