Is there a religious text proving that some horses bring sustenance while others bring poverty?

There are authentic hadiths regarding the virtues of horses, such as: "Blessing is in the forelocks of horses" and "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Judgment: reward and spoils of war." The notion that they bring poverty has no textual basis; rather, it is mentioned in hadiths: "Ill-omen is in the house, the woman, and the horse." Scholars have differed in interpreting this ill-omen. Some believe it negates ill-omen rather than affirming it, while others hold that Allah might make their dwelling a cause of harm, or that its meaning is an exception to the forbidden ill-omen, implying that if one dislikes something in these matters, one should get rid of it. Alternatively, the ill-omen of the house is its narrowness, the ill-omen of the woman is her infertility, and the ill-omen of the horse is its lack of benefit in battle.
