What is the ruling on a Murabaha card that allows the customer to purchase, then the bank buys the commodity and it becomes its property, and the merchant is appointed to sell it to the customer, with the possibility of both parties canceling the transaction?

If the transaction involves the customer buying the commodity from the merchant, then the contract between the merchant and the bank is transferred for the bank to sell it to the customer on a murabaha basis, this is not permissible শরعًا (religiously). Any prior contractual link between the customer who ordered the purchase and the original seller must be cancelled. However, if the customer informs the bank about a commodity for the bank to buy it and then sell it to him on a murabaha basis, without a prior contract between the customer and the supplier, then this is permissible. It is preferable to consult trustworthy scholars.
