Is it permissible to work from home via telephone without the husband's permission or knowledge?

A woman is not permitted to work outside the home unless her husband gives his permission, because it is his right upon her that she remain in the home. However, if the work is inside the home, is lawful, and does not diminish or harm the husband’s rights, then there is no objection to it, even if the husband does not give his permission.
