Is it permissible to sell a blank check for a price far exceeding its original value?

It is permissible to buy blank check paper and sell it for more than its value if its use is permissible, such as buying it to keep as part of one's heritage, provided that this does not reach the extent of extravagance prohibited by Islamic law.
