Is it permissible to remove the niqab for work and earning money if the woman's relatives are struggling to support her and she feels like a burden to them, especially after her engagement was broken off and she feels humiliated and disgraced?

All praise be to Allah for guiding you to self-accountability, remorse, and repentance for your shortcomings in fulfilling Allah's rights. Rejoice in the acceptance of your repentance if you are sincere in it. We advise you to be patient with the harm from your maternal uncles, for they are your kin, and there is a great reward for those who maintain ties with their relatives. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates, but the one who maintains ties of kinship is he who, when his ties of kinship are cut off, rejoins them." As for removing the niqab, it is not permissible, for the niqab is an obligatory duty according to the preponderant opinion of the scholars, especially with the prevalence of trials and tribulations. Therefore, seek work that you can do while wearing the niqab, such as working in Islamic schools or Qur'an memorization centers. However, if you cannot find work while wearing the niqab, it is permissible for you to remove it for work, provided you adhere to Sharia (definition) regulations, as this falls under the category of necessity, especially if your maternal uncles do not provide for you and you have no source of income, while continuing to search for another job that allows you to adhere to the niqab.
