Is money earned from teaching a student, when the source of that money is a women's hair salon, lawful or unlawful?
If the owner of the shop is a man and he works in it, then his work and money are unlawful (haram), and it is not permissible to take wages from him, unless he has another lawful (halal) income. However, if a woman is the one who works in the shop, there is no objection to that, and its money is permissible (mubah) if it adheres to the Sharia regulations.
