What is the ruling on praying in a house where sins, major sins, polytheism, sorcery, and desecration of the Qur'an occurred, given that the perpetrator has repented and ceased these acts, and fears the impact of what happened on his family and their prayers?

If a person repents of a sin, Allah will accept their repentance, and "one who repents of a sin is like one who committed no sin." Reciting Surat Al-Baqarah in the home is recommended and expels devils, but it is not obligatory. The prayer of a person and others in this home is valid; committing sins in a place does not invalidate the prayer performed therein, and the entire earth is a mosque for Muslims. What is obligatory upon the sinner is to repent, and upon anyone who witnesses it is to denounce it.
