Is it permissible to pray that a married woman becomes my wife in Paradise, without wishing harm upon her or her husband in this world? Is there any scholarly disagreement on this issue?
"Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and companions. To proceed:
A married woman will be with her husband in Paradise, and there is a difference of opinion if she married more than one husband: it was said she will be with her last husband, it was said she will be with the best of them in character, and it was said she will choose. It is not permissible for her to be with anyone other than her husband in Paradise, and it is not permissible to pray that she be a wife to anyone other than her husband in Paradise because this would imply asking for her separation from her husband. Allah is capable of all things but does not do contrary to what He promised. The advice is not to preoccupy oneself with this matter and to focus on righteous deeds and taking care of the wife and children."
