Is the husband's mother entitled to dispose of the Udhiyah, which is the property of the spouses, and divide it without their permission? Is it permissible for the wife to give her mother more than her husband's Udhiyah?

The command to give charity from the meat of sacrificial animals (adhaahi) is mentioned in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Eat, store, and give charity." Some scholars are of the opinion that giving charity from it is obligatory. If the recipients are poor, then one has exited the disagreement. Otherwise, it is better to give in charity the smallest amount that can be called meat. Imam An-Nawawi held the view that giving charity from a voluntary sacrifice is obligatory for whatever is conventionally called meat, and it is recommended that it be most of it, and that one eats a third, gives a third in charity, and gifts a third. As for what happened regarding the distribution of the sacrificial animal by the husband's mother, the matter has passed and should be disregarded. If the husband had authorized his brother to distribute it, then the matter is up to him. If there was no authorization for distribution, then it was obligatory to refer back to the husband. One must be careful that Satan does not use this incident as a means for discord, because rectifying relations is among the greatest acts of proximity to Allah.
