What is the detailed history of the Islamic leader Saladin Al-Ayyubi?

Saladin was born in the year 532 AH, and grew up in a household of emirate and leadership. His father was the deputy governor of Tikrit in Iraq. He was awe-inspiring, courageous, resolute, a mujahid (holy warrior), frequently engaged in غزوات (military campaigns), and of high ambition. His state extended for more than twenty years, and he took power after Nur al-Din, and his territories expanded. His gatherings were filled with scholars, and he participated in the work, even carrying stones himself. He vowed to kill Raynald, the Lord of Mosul, for his treachery against people during a truce and killing them. When he captured him, he offered him Islam, but Raynald refused, so Saladin killed him. He passed away in the Citadel of Damascus on Wednesday, the twenty-seventh of Safar, in the year 589 AH, leaving behind seventeen sons and one daughter.
