What is the ruling on being present in places where alcohol is served, such as hotels and tourist ships, while avoiding the areas where alcohol is present? Is being there considered unlawful, and what if God takes my soul while I am there?

Being in places of sin without necessity is not permissible, unless it is for the purpose of enjoining good and forbidding evil. Being present in such places without condemning the sin may suggest approval, and it may lead to a general punishment for all those present, even the righteous, as in the Hadith: "The first and the last of them will be swallowed up by the earth, and among them will be their markets and those who are not of them?" He said: "The first and the last of them will be swallowed up by the earth, then they will be resurrected according to their intentions." Therefore, it is not permissible to be present in facilities like hotels and cruise ships where sins are widespread, unless it is out of necessity or to change the evil.
