Must I make up the Ishā’ prayer first, then the Fajr prayer, or should I pray Fajr then Ishā’, given that I slept before Ishā’ and woke up a few minutes before sunrise?

If the remaining time before sunrise is sufficient for both the Isha and Fajr prayers, then Isha should be prayed first, followed by Fajr, due to the necessity of maintaining the proper order. However, if the time is so short that it is not sufficient for both prayers, and the worshipper fears that the time for Fajr will expire, then he should pray Fajr first, followed by Isha. This is the view of the majority of scholars. The obligation of maintaining the order is dropped when the time for the present prayer is limited, because the obligation of observing the prayer within its prescribed time is more emphatic than the obligation of maintaining the order.
