The answer

The wealth left by the deceased is to be distributed among the rightful heirs. It is not permissible to disinherit any of them, and such an act is considered a grave sin requiring repentance, seeking forgiveness, and restoring rights to their owners. The inheritance is divided by making the number of shares 16: two shares for the male and one share for the female, so a male receives the equivalent of the share of two females. To restore rights, the value of the estate is determined on the day of the deceased's death, and the share of each heir is identified. If someone took more than their rightful share, the excess is taken back if it still exists, or it becomes a debt upon them if they have consumed it. Any gains from the estate, such as the produce of livestock and the usufruct of a house, are included. Disputed matters are to be referred to the Muslim judge for resolution and redress for the aggrieved party.
