However, if the device contains something suspicious, corrupt, or harmful to Muslims, then it is permissible to hack it to protect the interests of Muslims and to thwart the plans of corrupt individuals. Selling or publishing programs used for hacking is forbidden if the seller knows that the buyer will use them for evil.
