Is the saying "Whoever eats seven dates in the morning, they will glorify Allah in his stomach throughout the day" authentic?
The chapter on foods is one of the chapters in which the most hadiths have been fabricated, and dates are a type of food about which many fabricated hadiths have been narrated. There is no musnad , elevated to the Prophet (peace be upon him), that indicates the glorification of dates in the stomach of the son of Adam, even though all things glorify Him, praise be to Him. Nothing has been narrated specifically regarding the virtue of seven dates on an empty stomach.
What is authentic in this chapter is the hadith narrated by Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever eats seven 'Ajwa dates in the morning, no poison or sorcery will harm him on that day." Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
