Must one honor a wicked mother who incites the killing of her son, and is it permissible to resort to the police in this case?
It is strange for a mother to seek to harm her daughter and incite her brothers to kill her, even though the origin of a mother is compassion. Patience and supplication are advised. The reasons for the mother's behavior must be investigated and addressed, and an attempt should be made to appease her and seek help from those who can assist. One must be dutiful and kind to the mother, no matter how badly she behaves. There is no harm in reporting the matter to the responsible authorities, such as the judiciary, for prosecuting parents is not considered disobedience if the child is not unjust, nor is prosecuting brothers considered a severance of kinship ties.
