If the heirs are limited to the husband, the son, and the daughter, the husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a lineal descendant. The remainder is distributed between the son and the daughter, with the male receiving the equivalent of two females' shares. The estate is divided into four shares: one share for the husband, two shares for the son, and one share for the daughter. The estate must be divided through the Sharia courts.
