Is it permissible to move graves to another cemetery, and does the age of the aforementioned cemetery allow for its use as a sports field?
It is permissible to utilize a graveyard for planting, building, and other purposes, such as converting it into a playground, if it has decayed and turned into dust, and no trace of the deceased remains. The effacement of the graves is determined by consulting experts.
If it was endowed for a specific purpose, the conditions of the endower must be adhered to.
However, if the deceased have not decayed and their traces remain, such as their bones, then it is not permissible to exhume or relocate the graves except out of necessity.
If the presence of human remains is confirmed, it is not permissible to play in the vicinity of these graves, or to sit or step on them.
