Does the hymn mentioned, with its lyrics "You have dwelt in my heart, by the Lord of all worshippers... I am your servant, O people of loyalty," contain meanings of disbelief and undermine the creed?

The poem contains exaggeration (ghuluww) and should only be recited in reference to Allah Almighty. However, it does not amount to disbelief (kufr) because its words are open to interpretation. It indicates that the heart of its reciter is attached to other than Allah and that there is a defect in his conception of what deserves to be an ultimate goal in itself, and in his scales of honor and loyalty. Sheikh Abdur-Rahman al-Suhaim mentioned that it contains meanings that are permissible only for Allah Almighty, such as the sayings: "I am your slave," "My humility is with you," "My honor is through you," and "You are my ultimate desire and farthest aim."
