One should not frequently swear by Allah, as it diminishes the reverence for Allah. There is no expiation for oaths broken before puberty, based on the : "The pen has been lifted from three: ... and from the child until he reaches puberty." As for what occurs after puberty, expiation is obligatory for each oath, by feeding ten poor persons, clothing them, or freeing a slave.
