How can one atone for the multitude of oaths and vows broken in the past, knowing that the specific oaths cannot be accurately recalled, and that one of the vows was to commit to the regular Sunnah prayers and remembrances for life, which is difficult to adhere to, and another was to complete a full recitation of the Quran after a certain matter materialized, but it was not fulfilled? And what is the appropriate atonement for a 19-year-old girl who only possesses 500 Riyals?

A Muslim must guard his tongue from excessive oaths and vows. If oaths are repeated and then broken, an expiation is due for each oath broken. However, if the sworn-upon matter is a single item, and the oaths were repeated before breaking them with the intention of emphasis, not renewal, then only one expiation is due. It is necessary to know the number of oaths and vows that have not been fulfilled, and if this is not possible, then caution should be exercised until one is reasonably certain of having cleared their liability. If you are unable to fulfill a vow due to an incapacity that is not expected to be removed, then you owe an expiation of an oath for each vow, based on the hadith: "Whoever vows a vow he cannot fulfill, its expiation is the expiation of an oath." This includes vows to maintain the regular voluntary prayers (Sunan Ratiba) and remembrances (adhkar) after prayer, and these must be fulfilled. Delaying the completion of the Qur'an beyond its specified time in a vow without a valid excuse necessitates sin, an expiation of an oath, and its making up. If it was due to an excuse, there is no sin or expiation, but making it up is still required.
