Is ruqyah using the Qur’an and reciting Ayat al-Kursi considered an act of polytheism (shirk), despite the existence of hadiths indicating that whoever recites it will be protected from Satan, while this is not explicitly mentioned in the Qur’an, which only commands seeking refuge in Allah, and there is also a hadith that prohibits ruqyah and amulets?

Hanging Ayat al-Kursi is not shirk (polytheism), for the Qur'an is the word of Allah, and it is legislated to seek refuge with His perfect words, and Ayat al-Kursi is the greatest of its verses. The fact that this act is not mentioned in the Qur'an does not negate its permissibility, as many lawful matters are established by the Sunnah, which is revelation. Allah Almighty has commanded us to take what has come from the Messenger, peace be upon him, as He said: "And whatever the Messenger has given you - take it; and whatever he has forbidden you - refrain from." (Qur'an 59:7) And He said: "And We have sent down to you the Dhikr [Qur'an] that you may explain to the people what was sent down to them." (Qur'an 16:44) Ruqyah (exorcism/incantation) is permissible as long as it does not involve shirk.
