Is there polytheism or anything Islamically forbidden in the mentioned Ruqyah, especially since it uses "by impenetrable, veil-like shields that have blocked every schemer, every adversary, and every loud clamor," and "I adjure you by the supplications of misfortune and have cut off your senses"?
Hadiths indicate the permissibility of so long as it does not involve . Scholars have stipulated for its permissibility that it must be with the words of Allah, or His names and attributes, and in the Arabic language or something whose meaning is known, and with the belief that the ruqyah does not have an effect in itself but by the permission of Allah. The aforementioned ruqyah is not permissible due to its inclusion of innovation (bid'ah), by specifying the recitation of Surat Muhammad a certain number of times and at a certain time for the purpose of healing or facilitating marriage, and due to its inclusion of words of unknown meaning such as "al-muhassanaat al-hijabiyyah" and "ad'iyat al-anhaas."
