Serving shisha is forbidden and is considered aiding in sin, based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If the suitor insists on serving it, then he is not pleasing in terms of religion and character, and according to the Hadith: "If someone whose religion and character you approve comes to you to propose, then marry him." He should be advised gently, and if he does not repent, he should not be accepted as a husband, though marrying him is not forbidden. If the woman fears missing out on marriage, there is no harm in accepting him while striving to advise him and pray for him.
