Is it permissible to marry women if lewdness and vice have become widespread among them, along with the loss of ghira (protective jealousy) and haya (modesty), and a renunciation of religion?

Whoever desires to marry should choose a woman of religious commitment and good character, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, succeed with the one who is religious, and may your hands be soiled with dust."

It is not permissible to marry a dissolute woman, or an adulteress, or one who takes secret lovers. It is a condition that the woman be chaste.

If she is immodest, vulgar, and mixes with non-mahram men, it is not appropriate to marry her unless the suitor knows that his marriage to her will bring her back to the truth and commit her to the rulings of Islam.
