What is the ruling on a woman who adorns herself for a wedding?

Adornment for a wedding or any other occasion is not forbidden if it adheres to the legitimate Islamic guidelines, such as not imitating disbelieving or immoral women, and avoiding extravagance. However, a woman displaying her adornment in front of non-mahram men is forbidden, whether at a wedding or otherwise. Therefore, it is permissible for a woman to adorn herself if she is certain that non-mahram men will not see her adornment; otherwise, it is not.
