What is the ruling on working for a company that manufactures shaving razors?
The ruling differs between the manufacturer and the seller. The basic principle concerning the manufacturer's work is permissibility, and there is no harm in working for a company that produces razors, as they have many permissible uses. As for the seller, he must consider the condition of the buyer. If he is certain or predominantly believes that the buyer will use the razors for something forbidden, such as shaving the beard, then selling them is not permissible. If he is certain or predominantly believes that the buyer will use them for something permissible, then it is allowed. If he does not know the intended use, then selling is permissible, unless their predominant use is for something forbidden. Moving to another job is more preferable and safer, if possible.
