Working in the manufacture and sale of materials, such as shaving cream, depends on the ruling regarding their use. What is mostly used in unlawful acts, like shaving beards, is impermissible to manufacture or sell. As for what is used in both permissible and unlawful acts, such as women's cosmetic tools, it is permissible to manufacture and sell them wholesale. However, a retail seller is not permitted to sell to someone whom he knows will use them for disobedience.
