Is a father to prioritize helping his needy parents over performing Umrah with the money he possesses?

The maintenance of poor parents is obligatory upon their wealthy child according to the Qur’an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. If the father is wealthy, it is incumbent upon him to spend on his poor parents, and it is not permissible for him to spend money on Umrah while leaving them in need, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "It is sufficient sin for a person to neglect those whom he is obliged to support." Umrah is obligatory only for those who have surplus money beyond their basic needs and obligatory expenses. However, the child is not obligated to pay his father's debt. If Umrah is immediately obligatory, the son should prioritize performing Umrah over paying his father's debt.
