The question

Can some of the Prophet's virtuous manners be mentioned, and how Allah preserved him before the Prophethood, bearing in mind that the story of Abu Talib informing his brother Al-Abbas about the Messenger's beautiful qualities has not been proven, but the wonders narrated about him, such as the account of the monk Bahira and others, are well-known?

The answer

The Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, lived a noble and pure life before his prophethood. Allah protected him during that time from all evil and the impurities of the Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) period. He was known as "the Trustworthy" (al-Amin); he never prostrated to an idol, never drank alcohol, never committed an indecency, and never indulged in the frivolities of the Jahiliyyah. Allah preserved him from all of that in preparation for his prophethood. Thus, his life before the prophethood was the most complete and best life.
